Since early 2014, the Woods Point Community in conjunction with the Mansfield Shire Community Resilience Team, have been meeting to discuss the way forward for our community and how we could improve facilities, the streetscape, amenities and appeal of our wonderful and unique township.

Following a major survey, The Woods Point and Matlock Community Plan  was drafted, refined and launched. A committee was formed whose work strives to involve the entire community so that everyone has input into the future direction of our town including permanent residents and part time holiday  makers.

There is much hard work to be done and difficult decisions to be made but with a whole community approach, we are confident that we will continue to make Woods Point and nearby Matlock, a place where we want to be and a place that we are proud to share with others...
