Woods Point is the ideal camping locale offering peace and tranquility by the Goulburn River under a canopy of soaring native trees. We offer two main camping grounds including JH Scott Reserve and Comet Flat. Both sites are family and pet friendly. A number of alternative camping sites are also available in the surrounding area.

GENERAL INFO

An attractive green camp by the upper Goulburn River approx. 2km north west of Woods Point General Store. Open sunny sites and well shaded by tall Mountain Ash and wattles. Kookaburras, rosellas, and finches are common.

Lyrebirds may also be seen.

Non-potable water may be available. Boil all water for at least 10 minutes before drinking.

CAMP FIRES

There are no built fireplaces in this camp ground, however it may be permisable to have a camp fire under certain conditions. Please check local fire restrictions and rules before lighting fires.

Wood barbeques are available.

Bring firewood and check firebans.
