Woods Point is a popular destination for hunting enthusiasts who can capitliase on the prime sambar deer country. Deer Hunting is permitted in our area - please refer to the maps below.

The SSAA Deerstalkers Club was established in 1970. A group of club members own a hunting lodge situated in Woods Point and other financial members can join the lodge membership. Lodge members have unlimited access to the lodge during the hunting season and outside of this time, it can be booked by lodge members for their own use.

Safety comes first in our community. Possession of a firearms license is a privilege that carries significant responsbilities. We welcome legitimate hunters and ask that they take great care. Illegal shooters and those carrying prohibited weapons are not welcome and risk criminal charges.
